About Gallagher Roofing

Gallagher Roofing is a family firm that was established by Harry Gallagher in 1969 when he immigrated from Ireland at the age of 18 years. Initially he made his living doing all kinds of jobs, for example, window cleaning and gutter repairs. Ian joined his father when he was in his teen and together they have brought the business to where it is today.

Operating from the heart of Cheshire Gallagher Roofing contracts throughout the UK on all aspects of roof maintenance, repair and replacement. Currently we have a permanent staff of 9 with provisional arrangements in place for those occasions where demand exceeds our immediate resources. All of our staff and those to which we subcontract, are CITB accredited and work under strict guidance from Ian at Gallagher Roofing. Being registered with the Construction Industry Training Board, all of our employees are actively encouraged to gain qualifications in roofing. Currently we have two staff members studying for qualifications in slating and tiling.

We have an excellent reputation locally and seldom advertise, the majority of our work is obtained through recommendation from existing and previous customers. Ian, prides himself on his high standard of lead work and being listed as a contractor for the National Trust, enjoys nothing more than the restoration of churches and local historic buildings.

As you would expect from a responsible employer and contractor we carry full Public and Employers Liability Insurance.
